Labels

Its hard being a teenager now days, there’s so many different labels on us. It’s crazy but people don’t see you as who you identify yourself to be, Like it or not you are who your classmates see you as. What they think of you, How they see you act and the things they see you do, is what makes their description Of whom you are to them. Soon enough all that will change, because pretty soon we’re going to be heading Out into this big beautiful world. And we have the opportunity to erase all those Labels we once we’re referred to as. We get to start living by our real names. For some this will become a really big moment in life, some what an accomplishment. Others will take the past 4, 5 years of high school and turn it into a question. You’ll Look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself who am I? But see what matters deep down, is the fact that only you know who you really are. You also know how you want the world to see you, now it’s up to you to let the world know you for who you really are; or you can just stick to your labels. For some, this will be our chance to re-invent ourselves and start fresh into the big world. Never be afraid of the reflection in the mirror, because that same reflection will turn out to change the world in ways unbelieved. You used to look in the mirror every morning and say Hi. Now when you look in the mirror, you will see what’s behind you.
